Image priority

This filter works with the Largest Contentful Paint metric

The fetchpriority attribute can be used to boost the priority of an LCP image. You can use our image priority filter to see:

  • if your site or shop still has LCP image candidated that don't have a fetchpriority=high attribute;
  • the difference between image with and without a fetchpriority strategy.

Attribute values are as following:

  • high
    Fetches the external resource at a high priority relative to other external resources.

  • low
    Fetches the external resource at a low priority relative to other external resources.

  • auto
    Doesn't set a preference for the fetch priority. It is used if no value or an invalid value is set. This is the default.

This filter can be used with resource hints, filetype, filesize and cache status filters to explain Load Delay and request scheduling/competition.
