For example in the following cases: - changing tracking settings in the [snippet configuration](https://www.rumvision.com/help-center/monitoring/snippet/introduction/?format=md) - added, removing or changing URL (rules) > Before expecting relevant data, be sure to [add the right URLs](https://www.rumvision.com/help-center/monitoring/getting-started/adding-pages/?format=md) and prevent your [Content Security Policy](https://www.rumvision.com/help-center/monitoring/settings/domain-settings/?format=md#csp) from blocking any RUMvision requests. ## Caching duration We've got caching and security mechanisms in place to: - reduce server load. - safeguard against inaccuracies in data tracking. This means that there may be a delay of 0 to 5 minutes before your changes take effect. A server side caching mechanism will help reduce the load on our servers. However, server side cache is being purged as soon as you're making changes that are falling in one of the categories listed below. The client side caching duration is 2 hours. This means that it's less likely that latest changes are applied to visitors that already started their session within the last 2 hours. ## How fast you will see new data This means that as soon as you installed the snippet or [added or changed URL rules](https://www.rumvision.com/help-center/monitoring/getting-started/adding-pages/?format=md), you should see new data coming in very soon. ### After installing the snippet You will see data coming in as soon as: - the snippet is installed correctly and your CSP isn't blocking any RUMvision requests; - someone visited on a device that matches the filters that you are using; - during a moment that matches your daterange selection that you're using. ### After changing URLs You will only see new data when: - a new visitor with an uncached or expired RUM JavaScript (forcing them to download the newest version) is visiting a page that matches the URL (rule); - on a device that matches the filters that you are using; - during a moment that matches your daterange selection that you're using. ### After changing tracking configuration You will only see new data when: - a new visitor with an uncached or expired RUM JavaScript (forcing them to download the newest version) is visiting a page that matches the URL (rule); - on a device that matches the filters that you are using; - during a moment that matches your daterange selection that you're using. In each of these cases, the delay also depends on the business hours. That's because our services will first concatenate incoming data before making it available in RUMvision dashboards/ Depending on the above, the **delay may vary from 10 minutes** (off-peak) **to 60 minutes** during European office hours.
